Ar. Charu S. Dubey, Project Associate
Charu Shree Dubey is an architect with a strong interest in sustainability, climate-responsive design, and low-carbon development in the built environment. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and has focused her academic work on environmentally responsible design strategies. Her undergraduate thesis, “Fusion: International Cultural Exchange Centre” in Barmer, Rajasthan, explored climate-adaptive architecture in extreme desert conditions, integrating vernacular principles with contemporary design through passive cooling strategies, brick jali facades, shaded walkways, and context-responsive spatial planning.
Professionally, Charu has experience working in architectural field as well as research and sustainability-focused initiatives, with exposure to building energy codes, sustainable site planning, and environmental analysis. At Pledge4Earth, she contributes to research, documentation, and analytical work supporting decarbonization and sustainable development strategies. She is passionate about bridging design thinking with data-driven sustainability solutions to help create resilient, climate-conscious built environments.
